  • Without Added Sulphites (Wine)

    A wine without added sulphites is a wine made without adding sulphites. However, these wines are not without sulphites because sulfur is an inevitable by-product of fermentation. This is why we talk about wines without added sulphites.

    Said of a wine that acquired aromas of wood during barrel aging or fermentation. These initially include toasted and roasted notes but evolve toward aromas of coffee, mocha and chocolate with time.
